Membership Director Job Description

Intown Golf Club (IGC) is the premier private social club and lifestyle brand for people that appreciate the game of golf. IGC is currently seeking a Membership Director to join our team in preparation for our Columbus, Ohio opening. The Membership Director will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and accepting new members.

Membership Director Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, interview, and accept applicants into the club
• Ongoing club communications with applicants as well as new members
• Conduct tours pre-open and post-open
• Coordinate events pre-open and post-open
• Provide membership data to the corporate team on a weekly basis
• Responsible for keeping membership personal data current as well as communicating membership upgrades/downgrades to staff
• Deep knowledge of club operations to provide cross-functional support across departments

Membership Director Qualifications:

• Proficient in CRM databases
• Effective interpersonal skills and clear communication (internal and external)
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• 4-year undergrad or equivalent
• Golf industry background is highly preferred
• Self-starter with a background in sales
